Important information received from Kerlink:
We are no yet celebrating the end of the migration and we expect several new releases to come but we are confident enough to bring good results to you and your customers.
With reference to different actions we took over the last couple of days (1) and communicate the latest status (2) as of now related to the light miner migration.
We are almost done with migration but the situation is improving and progressing well thanks to Helium continuous efforts and the support or our R&D to develop and on-board as quick as we can these multiples releases.

You may have seen this information relayed on Discord but let us synchronize officially with you.

1. Status from 16.05.2022: need of new release from Helium
​
Helium light hotspot activation has created several issues causing transactions to fail. Helium is trying to correct those bugs focusing on two majors aspects:

Some validators (new blockchain guarantor) are experimenting synchronization issues, by not being able to update their software. Those issues are addressed with several validators updates;

Miner software version has also been updated by Helium trying to add a fallback function to switch validator when there is a problem with the validator you are connected to.

Upon the past days, Helium has released four successive version (2022.05.10, 2022.05.11, 2022.05.12 & 2022.05.13), which we also successfully deployed on the whole Kerlink Fleet, trying to solve those elements. Current status is that we still observe issues for all hotspots (whatever the brand), meaning the network is still not good. We keep monitoring things and waiting for Helium's feedback but there may be a chance they are going to issue other releases...

2. Today status (from 17.05.2022): situation is progressing well
​
Last time Helium issued several adjustments for validator software in order to generate more POC and Kerlink issued a new version yesterday 2022.05.13_GA-klk2 regarding blockchain synchronization. The combination of those two items seems to have a great impact on the number of Gateway, as shown on the below graph:

Increase of the number of POC & Witness during the middle of the night;

Increase of the number of Kerlink Gateways rewarded per period (from 250 to 800).
